There is no liberal or conservative or any stupid political bullshit about this. The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep.

The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep!

The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep? The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep.

The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep..... The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep. The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep. The guy was dead before anyone knew what was going on because everyone was asleep. Is it clear now?

No guns would have saved anyone here. Get over it. Your stupid macho Hollywood bullshit is FAIL. So just shut up.

OK ok...I didn't know about the "they were all sleeping" part, and why was politics drawn into this?I've made no indication as to what my political leanings but rest assured I'm neither liberal or conservative,it's just my personal belief that anyone should be able to carry a handgun providing they've convinced the appropriate authorities that it's safe for that certain individual to do so.And finally I've given you no reason whatsoever for you to be shitty to me.

A gun wouldn't have saved anyone, but it would have erased this prick from the earth. So a big + to that.
It's a bus, though - people sitting less than a foot away from the person beside them. I wouldn't be upset if he was shot, but I would be if someone decided that "erasing" this guy was worth the risk to all the other passengers.

It would be hard to miss from point blank range...
Let's say your parents are sitting in the seats behind the murderer, and it's me with a gun in front of him, sound asleep before the incident occurred.

You would honestly rather me take the shot with your parents right behind the guy I'm shooting? Do you really trust me that much?

I can see the scenario clearly,Hwacker pulls out his glock and wastes the knife guy,Bart sees hwacker shoot the knife and starts pumping lead into hwacker thinking its a terrorist uprising, because everyones got a piece they all draw and start firing.

Recovering from repeated hunting knife stab wounds in the neck?

If I was sitting beside this poor kid the guy would be dead in 3 sec. People can survive a cut to the neck.

People cannot live without their head. (FACT)

Liberals have every excuse under the sun, except common sense.

Well I s'pose you're lucky then. You weren't there, so you can boast about your killer prowess on forums and be a net hero instead of shrieking and puking on the bus like everyone else.

Idiot.

Would a hand gun have stopped the killer after he stabbed the guy the fourth time or the tenth time? Or only after he cut off the head?

Who says he would have gotten the chance to do anything ?

At least the kid might have had the chance to eat dinner with his parents tonight. Now they eat alone.

You don't seem to know much about fighting and combat.

You should stay generally quiet and continue to insert only the occasional brainless statement to remind us to laugh at you.

Thanks. Now move along.

Surely someone on the bus could have intervened after witnessing the first thrust of the knife...
Intervened as a crazy guy with a hunting knife is stabbing the person beside him repeatedly in the throat? I don't think typical bus passengers are going to be able to help in that situation.

36 vs 1? Come on!!!!! The fact remains they did nothing to stop the attack...

The other fact that remains is that the passengers were publicly commended for handling so well a situation that would have been difficult for the most seasoned of officers, but all the tough guys bragging on an internet forum would certainly have handled it that much better.

I'm not a ballistics expert, but I doubt a 9mm is going to go through a body.

Any of you ever been stabbed or seen someone stabbed by someone else? If so, what was your reaction?
