What better way is there to underline the fact that the police need to calm the fuck down then to get their abuse live on national television as it happens?
No. That's a messed up way of thinking. We shouldn't want to expose abuse of police by having more people be abused.
I'm open to other ideas if you think they'll actually work.
I mean cancelling the police reforms was probably not the right move to start with.
But protesting and demonstration is exactly what needs to be done.
Ultimately, the people who know there is an issue with the police system in the U.S. don't need reporters being shot in the face to know it. The people who don't care, aren't going to change their mind seeing it. The protests that happened a few weeks ago with a bunch of good ol' boys bringing rifles to protests over not being able to get a haircut are no where to be found. Because they don't actually care about liberty. Your second amendment is a joke, because it will never be used in the ideological way that you think it will be. And we are seeing a perfect example of it right now. If all those people with those rifles actually gave a shit, they'd be at these protests protecting the protestors. And they aren't.
