martin14 martin14: Exocet82 Exocet82: Honestly, I can't stand ignorance.
must be real tough to look in the mirror in the morning. I'm totally amazed nobody has brought up his arrogance yet, 3 posts in and he's trying to moderate the thread, less than 12 posts and he's berating other members for their forum etiquette, and then after being around for less than a week he starts in on insulting other members who don't agree with him or see things from his point of view. Someone had better change their attitude or their stay is not going to be a very pleasing experience, or it could perhaps be a very short visit.

Tricks Tricks: Exocet82 Exocet82: I guess that you refer to the Tucanos. Yes they are, that's why the US is buying 125 of them or special ops. Wrong. http://www.navytimes.com/news/2009/03/n ... o_031309w/$1: “We’re not buying them; we’re leasing them right now. That’s an important point.” I wonder how these do against any sort of AA or in a dogfight. Probably not very good. "agile Brazilian observation and ground-attack turboprop" says the article. The Tucano strted out as a triner, nd later modified and beefed up for ground attack and special ops. Latest versions have more armor, more powerful engine, and weapons options, with a vesion being developed with sidewinder or magic type AA missiles.

Yeah but ya gotta admit that comment of his is ironically hilarious. Or would that be hilariously ironic? ![huh? [huh]](./images/smilies/icon_scratch.gif)

I have a hunch that having the the blind fold removed is painful to the eyes for some.

Yeah, I've noticed consummate bullshitters are rather narcissistic.

That's all well and good, but it isn't stealth, it's gonna be seen by radar like it's a blimp and all those nice improvements aren't going to do squat against SAMs or modern jets.

I think you're missing the point. Go back to the beginning of the thread where you waded in with some rookie modding, shaking your finger and scolding the inhabitants when they engaged in off topic chatting. Add to that the lectures on forum etiquette and then read your last few posts. You are off topic and engaging in insulting behavior. In short, you are being a massive hypocrite and seem incapable of seeing that. Everyone seems to have exercised a lot of patience with your annoying noobieness, giving you some gentle and not so gentle suggestions on how to acclimatize to the forum environment and the members, but you are being amazingly stubborn and want to do it your own way. Now you have a fairly significant amount of neg reps points which will only grow, and frankly, those with lots of red usually garner more and are generally held in disdain. If that's what you're hear to troll for, I'm sure you will continue to get bites. Watch those neg points accumulate and watch your experience hear get less pleasant. Your call.

Exocet82 Exocet82: Enjot this lovely UNASUR Armed Forces Video. The shape of things to come. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EFaNqtfJjw&feature=fvsrWorst marine landing ever. A 4 man team could have fended that off with a pair of rocket launchers and a .50 cal.

And FML, I think he was militia too... Oh yer fucked. But we have a lot. Lets see: (some could be wrong) Gunnair, Shep, 2cdo, Spr, Mario (back in the day), Bart, You, Pen, Eyebrock, Regina... I feel like I'm forgetting a bunch. Speaking of 2cdo and Pen, are they gone? Those guys were always good for a laugh. Still here, just not on-line too often. Gorgeous summer weather and all.

I was in a submarine once. The City of Buffalo has a maritime museum and they have a WWII era American submarine you can tour. I was looking around the submarine and realized this thing is pretty useless, the soul thing it can do is sneak up on ships. That's about all they can do. Pretty critical in WWII but it was funny to have the realization they are that specialized.

That's a pretty good specialisation in wartime. At least initially, attrition in naval warfare is a bitch, and the ability to sneak up on and destroy your enemy before they can destroy you is a major virtue.
