Again your partially right. A lot of things are done in the name of Islam doesn't mean they are true or right. Just as many things are done under the guise of democracy and to spread it. The Iraq war for example.

I have children and they are all males. .. married to white women and yes we can see their faces.. they all have jobs and they all have a say in what goes on in their household and their society.. they are all anatomically correct and haven't been mutilated, they all married in their late 20s early 30s and bore children at an appropriate age... so sorry no muslims for this guy... and I doubt in the future. Not to split hairs but, Islam is not a race.

I dont have an issue with liberal islam, its the crazy bat shit stuff that keeps cropping up in the name of islam. Suicide Bombers, Honor Killings, Oppression of Ideas/Speech/Womens Rights, Female Circumcision, and the unyielding rage that comes when a muslim feels their religion is under attack.
When in Canada we have groups of muslims protesting the Taliban or calling for freedom of speech in Iran, demanding the same rights they have in Canada for those of their family in their former nations, I think Islam will be celebrated here.
The largest problem I see is that a muslim will never openly criticize the imams and clerics, and if they do we never hear about it in the west.

1st of all I'm not there, and secondly I totally agree with you on that. That is ungratefull and disrespectfull to your host country. Correct stay home if you don't want things to change or you cannot handle it.

I don't know what the percentage of population is that does that, but I guess it can't be that much, can it ? Like I've said in my very early posts on this forums I don't agree with such attitudes.

But having said that I find nothing wrong with or think its impossible to retain important peices of your cultural identity as well as adopt, merge and function into wider society.

These people who your a talking about are hypocrites and will never be happy anywhere. Same situation we have with some western expats here, some here since the 70's still moan and complain about this place is not like home. The door swings both ways.,

The difference is tho, DD, that if I want to go to a muslim country, I am expected to cover up, or get arrested. I am also expected not to be in a room by myself with a man who is not my husband, without a chapperone.
