She's (Coulter) not a Canadian. She can say whatever the hell she wants in her own country.

True.

But the converse is probably not true. If you were to come to the USA where you're free to speak your mind you may well be prosecuted for what you've said upon your return to Canada.

She told Muslims that if they couldn't get on planes, they should ride their magic carpets. That's funny to me, I have to admit.

Ride a camel! quote.... ROTFL I think it's funny.....
Yip! learnt a long time ago... teachers control the students!
And the right or the wisdom of free speach.....is only in America!

Knowing Coulter all too well the cancellation itself could be just another publicity stunt anyway. And it never hurts Ezra whenever he gets his name in the press either, considering that his part in all of this has earned him an appearance on Bill O'Reilly's show tonight.

Both Coulter and Ezra are pros at getting attention paid to them. If they allegedly wanted a "nice, civil, speaking tour" to have happened they wouldn't have booked any of the appearances at universities in the first place. They would have booked slots at places like city convention centres instead, where any protestors most likely wouldn't have shown up anyway because they would have had to pay to get in, and where security would have been a hell of a lot tighter than it is on any campus.

Nah, they staged this manufactured "controversy" on university ground on purpose. It's not like they were dumb enough to believe that the campus lefties, on their own home turf where they always get away with everything they want (including rioting), would stay away or just politely shut up. It's the oldest trick in the Hollywood book, in that there's no such thing as bad publicity. A couple of veteran famewhores like Coulter and Ezra are just revelling in this attention they're now getting.

We respect the US's laws when we're there she should respect ours. If Canadians don't like the Hate Speech laws they should vote for people who will change then. Is she should ever break the law here she should be charged.

As far as I'm concerned there's no difference between her and Fred Phleps

Could be. How about inciting a riot? With her big fat mouth!

Who is the terrorist with the scarf?

Its ok to support palastinian violence. I am starting to see something in Canada white people can't speak thier minds. Everyone else can.

If by 'white' you mean, Ann, then you'd be wrong. She wussed out after being shouted down by the mob exercising its freedom of speech. Great publicity stunt, though.
