The news now states that a private autopsy says Mike Brown was shot from a distance.

"a distance" simply means the cop wasn't close enough for the GSR to transfer to Brown. That goes against the official narrative that the cop was engaged in close quarters combat with Brown and was in immediate fear for his life.

Exactly.
So why is that cop still a cop and not in jail, like you or I would be?

It is called rule of law and evidence. Glad you are not on the jury.

Was that really necessary?

Why are so many so quick to judge and convict before we have all the facts?

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=e94_1408294281

A previously unnoticed detail in a background conversion of a video taken minutes after the Ferguson shooting could change the course of the investigation into Mike Brown’s death.

The original video poster appears sympathetic to the narrative that Mike Brown was shot unarmed with his hands in the air. But he unknowingly picks up conversation between a man who saw the altercation and another neighbor.

@6:28/6:29 of video
#1 How’d he get from there to there?
#2 Because he ran, the police was still in the truck – cause he was like over the truck {crosstalk}
#2 But him and the police was both in the truck, then he ran – the police got out and ran after him {crosstalk}
#2 Then the next thing I know he doubled back toward him cus - the police had his gun drawn already on him –
#1. Oh, the police got his gun
#2 The police kept dumpin' on him, and I’m thinking the police kept missing – he like – be like – but he kept coming toward him {crosstalk}
#2 Police fired shots – the next thing I know – the police was missing
#1 The Police?
#2 The Police shot him
#1 Police?
#2 The next thing I know … I’m thinking … the dude started running … (garbled something about “he took it from him”)
This is terribly important because if Mike Brown had been shot, and he advanced towards the cop instead of surrendering, it would substantiate the narrative that the policeman shot in self-defense due to the fact that he was being threatened with severe bodily harm.

This corroborates an account of the event given by a friend of Officer Darren Wilson:

"Well, then Michael takes off and gets to be about 35 feet away. And, Darren’s first protocol is to pursue. So, he stands up and yells, “Freeze!” Michael and his friend turn around. And Michael taunts him… And then all the sudden he just started bumrushing him. He just started coming at him full speed. And, so he just started shooting. And, he just kept coming. And, so he really thinks he was on something.”

With the amount of incomplete, contradictory, confused, or downright incorrect information flying around about this case, I don't understand how so many seem to already have made up their minds about what happened. It does more to reveal your own biases than it does to illuminate anything surrounding the actual case.

Sad that such a tragic event gets turned into more fodder for the partisan herds.

And it is tragic. Regardless of what actually happened here anytime an 18 year old kid is killed it's tragic. For him, his family, the community, and the officer involved and his family and friends.

No legal action has been taken yet but as more evidence comes out it seems to show the officer acted in self defense of course that could change in a heart beat. If anyone's guilty of anything right now it's the actions of the lame stream media who posted the officer's home address after he was indentified whuch means if charges are laid and there's a trial it will defintely have to be outside of Ferguson.

Absolutely.

And what is happening now is very sad for the business owners who see their business set on fire or looted, or not able to be in business, so they are losing a lot of money. This community is going to need a loooong time to recover.

The 'live breaking news' broadcast 24/7 is not helping either...

I wonder how many 'protesters' (read 'people who are creating a mess') are actually living and working in Ferguson...

Yet... if it would have been you or me, we would be in jail, waiting and being questioned. If you or me would have been black, and it was a white kid, oh boy.

I don't think it is a good idea, especially with the racial tensions in the US, to have this cop still on duty. On medical leave tho (for as far as I heard)...

And no, I do NOT think it had anything to do with race, I still don't think it has.
But Al Sharpton and buddies obviously do.
"Another black kid shot by a white cop. It's RACIST"
Yeah, and more people burning other people's life-work down, looting and trashing their own city.

Much like with Gaza, the Russians shooting down airliners, floods then droughts everywhere, Stephen Harper (obviously) ordering a break-in at Justin Trudeau's house, and excessive numbers of dog bites occurring, I think I might just have to put this Ferguson nonsense to everyone going a tad crazy from excessive heat. It's been a long, dry, and too hot summer and it's probably getting to everyone, especially in those US cities that tend to turn into sweltering hellholes every year. :|

:lol:

It has been abnormally cool for the past 10 days in Missouri.
Morning temps in 50's, daytime not more than 85.
Brown was shot wearing socks with his sandals.

It's maybe been a long hot summer where you are, but not in Ferguson.

Real heat and humidity is coming for the weekend though. :wink:
