andyt andyt: You're kidding right? You think the Chinese in Richmond BC would rather be in Tibet under Chinese control?
I was suggesting what the Chinese government would prefer. As it stands the Chinese in Canada are "escaped", those in Tibet are not. I would think that China would have a rather difficult time attracting immigration once everyone notices how they treat their own people. I don't imagime that the Chinese in Richmond are homesick for Tibet.

martin14 martin14: Good. Let me know when you become Prime Minister, and refuse any dealings with China until they leave Tibet. ...and until they stop human rights violations and until they start protecting workplace safety and environmental standards and outlaw sweatshops and child labour and until they stop devaluing their currency. China's record on a dozen issues is disgraceful enough that we SHOULD stand up and refuse to deal with them. Martin14 Martin14: Or show me any government in the world doing this. Or show me your participation at the latest anti China rally. Or at least show me where you refuse to buy anything Chinese. till then.... Ahh, the "Everyone else is doing it" justification for immoral behavior, Even my 6 year-old gets that that's failing logic. I try to avoid buying Chinese, but it is damn hard to do.

Or better to say, they dont care enough. Yeah, you're right. And I guess I'm a hypocrite. I just got a new 14-piece DeLonghi stainless steel cookware set. I thought I was ordering an Italian-made product. I didn't know it was actually made in China until the package arrived. I suppose I should have returned it, but I braised a venison and turnip stew in it instead. ![Drool [drool]](./images/smilies/droolies.GIF)

$1: Israelis' scheme to populate Gaza and the West Bank with transplanted Jews
The Jews left the Gaza strip. They view the West Bank in a different light because it's traditionally known as Judea and Samaria $1: Who was the legitimate leader of France during WWII, de Gaulle or Hitler?
Marshal Philippe Pétain according to international law. He was confirmed Chef de l'État Français by the elected National Assembly on July 10, 1940.

Canadian venison I hope.

yeah, but the design is worthless when you turn production over to people who don't, won't and can't follow the manufacturing techniques that you worked hard to establish....because they want to produce products on the cheap.

Mideast: Egyptian diesel finished, Gaza dark and cold$1: FEBRUARY 13 - More than a million Palestinians were last night plunged into darkness in the Gaza Strip, with the last reserves of Egyptian diesel from the only local electric power station about to run out. ... As night fell, complete darkness fell on a number of areas of Gaza City, demoralising children. This was accompanied by bitter cold. So as not to spend the night in the open, the only option, as it was two centuries ago, is coal. During the day, electrical current was rationed in towns around the Gaza Strip. Some households enjoyed electricity for eight hours, others for just two. They continue to torment those people day in and day out.

From your own article: $1: The "lucky ones" are those who live in the far south and north of the Gaza Strip, areas that remain connected to the Israeli electrical network, ... $1: The crisis had been on the horizon for some time, not least because trouble in the Sinai had led to the suspension of Egyptian supplies. Electricity is also said to be rationed in the Egyptian Sinai. Continuing hostility between Hamas and Israel means that the possibility of asking the Jewish state for assistance has been ruled out. It's the Egyptians doing this, you retard.

I have no hatred of Israel. The illegal blockade and the illegal settlements on the other hand there is no excuse for. They choose those instead of peace

Just remember Curt's opinions on Israel are based on having a Jewish mayor he doesn't really like, and the fact that the closest he's been to Israel was the last time he was in St. Boniface. As per usual he's expressing his expertise in knowing absolutely SFA about SFA. Jordanians, Egyptians and the Lebanese seem to be given carte blanche in the way they've vigorously dealt with their 'Palestinian' problems, yet he goes on about a police action cleared by the UN when idiots tried to run a UN recognized embargo.

Im used your ignorant comments, but what gave you the idea that I was upset with Sam Katz?
