Haven't seen it, but wouldn't be surprised if it simply shows a boob now and then.

It's French... a 16+ rating in France must be full frontal nudity and simulated sex.

I don't know about the ROC, but in the early 70s, one TV station in Québec ran uncensored XXX movies on Friday night (11 o'clock or midnight). I'm talking "The devil in Miss Jones", "Behind the green door" and "Deep throat" type movies here.

I remember in the late 70's the French channel showed porn but it didn't air until 12:30 or 1:00am. 8)

Who really cares. When I was young and we had one channel, it was unfortunately or maybe fortunately the CBC since there was always the chance that one of their Made in Canada dramatic programs would have a little tit's and ass. [B-o]

So I guess Sun Media bitching about CBC and it's T&A is a little late. 1955 maybe but now?

I saw a few quick clips of the program on the news. Ya it was sexually suggestive but no more than a show like Spartacus. I think the Quebecor and the Sun media are just trying to continue their little war against the CBC.

Might just qualify as the most idiotic 'non-story' of the year so far. Almost embarrassing to read it's so pathetic.

I can think of half a dozen things my tax dollars fund that are far far more sinister than 'boobies'. Perhaps if they funded more shows like this, people might program their channels back into the remote.

2012 and people here are still terrified of anything sexual in nature being shown on TV or anywhere else in public. Wow...just wow..

So let me get this straight: Sun media has Page 3 girls and they're ripping on the CBC for having a web-only program that has boobies in it? What a bunch of fucking hypocrites.

Like someone else said, this is why they should never have been allowed their media license. They're taking their cue from a certain propaganda "news" channel in the US. Attack the "liberal" media as being antithetical to family values all the while doing the same.

Who cares, it's on in the middle of the night?

You like having your tax dollars being spent on porn programming?

Deadwood and Rome had sex scenes as well. No doubt those challenged like yourself would cry porn too.

Stick to what you know, which is much less than what you think you know.

$1:
At least it's not made in China.

Oriental porn....no tits and all the women sound like they're being abused. There's plenty of 'soft porn' on the Japanese channels and movies that are part of the standard cable package....again, it's on later in the night.

Taxpayer shouldn't pay for it though. If Quebecers want French porn on their TV's they should pay for it themselves through a provincial government cultural office. They shouldn't get federal money for it. It's not the amount of the money involved, it's the basic principle of it.

There's a lot of stuff I don't like paying for as a taxpayer. Where's the cut off then?
