Neat. Too bad I rarely ever have a $100 bill in my possession (or cash for that matter).

Really! Why do we even have 50 and 100 dollar bills? :?: Most people use debit cards anyway. We could do very well with just 5's, 10's and 20's. Let the banks use the bigger stuff if they need it. 20's should have come out first anyway.

Because they aren't worth very much anymore. I've seen little kids with $50s at the corner store.
Or should we do away with cash entirely so every single goddam transaction can be recorded and the banks can skim their pound of flesh? Make sure they get the HST when you pay the babysitter and fill out forms to declare the money you gave your kid was his allowance and not a taxable transaction?

That's why we can't have $1000 bills anymore.

Sure we can have $1000 bills. Just ask your heating oil delivery guy, he'll be happy to give you one!

Getting close. Filled up last week for just a shade over $800.00! 8O

That should do for a couple of months if it starts getting real cold here.

Holy moley!

Even at 20 below for a month straight, my bill never gets much past $300. But that's Natural Gas too.

Actually that $800 heats both the house and water tank. I last filled my oil tank last March. This year I'll probably stretch that for an extra month by using the wood stove more often.

In my old place using natural gas my average monthly bill was $125. Adding water and sewage tacked another $70 dollars a month. An overall average of near $200 a month or $2400/year. I use approximately 2.5 tanks a year which runs about $2000. So I actually save $400/year. 8)
