BartSimpson BartSimpson:

Khrazy Khaddafy was off-limits while peace was the rule of the day but once the balloon went up he was fair game.
Good point.

However the video starts it'll end with a Secret Service guy turning Andy's head into a light mist.

In general, no. But in your case...

[B-o]

I'm sure George would be quite classy about whatever you'd have to say. Just keep in mind when you chat with him that the Secret Service guys are typified by paranoiacs with a hair trigger.

Hence I would rather Stevo express the opinion of the majority of the Canadian people and tell Bush what an asshole he is.

Considering that Bush was far nicer to Canada than Obama is then what are people going to say to Obama?

Remember Obama? The guy who wants to militarize the US-Canada border and close the gate at the Peace Arch?

Are we now making justice relative to the military power of states?

Most likely Steve considers G.W. to be a hero.

No, my point is you don't mess with foreign heads of state, present and past, unless you are at war with them. Goes for both G.W. and some rogue African.

It always has been and is nothing new. Military power is why Josef Stalin and Mao were never prosecuted for their crimes. Military power is also why the Nazis and the Japanese were prosecuted for their crimes.

I imagine Canada could arguably arrest the president of Nigeria for whatever and get away with it, but arresting a former US President would be bad for business and the mere facts of this make the prospect of it happening to be outlandish in the extreme.

Hear hear! Nobody is going to arrest GW Bush in Canada. It's a stupid idea to even suggest such a thing would even be contemplated. Besides, the RCMP would likely taser Cheney and wind up giving him force-lightning powers like the Emperor.

So it would be OK for the US to arrest a former Canadian PM. :?
