Being skinny does not necessarily mean being healthy. Look at Steve Jobs.
Didn't Jobs have cancer?
Yep. So?
So does my obese friend. Guess what she is told?
My ex-father in law was skinny. He died on the tennis court. His arteries were 95% and 70% clogged, his liver showed signs of shutting down, and he just had his prostate peeled 10 months prior to his death. He was skinny.
I am skinny. Does not mean I either eat healthy or work out.
I am not saying that obesity is a good thing, because it is not. But I do not see the use of taxing unhealthy food. Make sure people can actually afford fruits and veggies, and do not rather buy a box of hamburgers, but go for a roasted chicken salad or something. Comfort food and junk food is still cheaper. Why is bottled water more expensive than a bottle of coke?
Why is junk food more expensive than a salad? Doesn't make sense to me.
