Many people who lived in Victorian Britain who had green wallpaper in their homes knew all about arsenic poisoning. Many people who had green wallpaper in their homes probably kept wondering why they often felt ill and sickly.
Another person who probably knew about arsenic poisoning was Napoleon. It is suspected that, when imprisoned by the British on the island of St Helena, he was poisoned to death by the green wallpaper the British had put up in his room.
