It's sad, but I've had non-Flame pennants on my car broken when in Calgary.

In every bunch, some people are just assholes I guess.

There are assholes everywhere, but when it comes to this sort of thing Calgary does seem to be a little worse than most other places. I remember a few years ago a guy in Calgary got jumped and the shit beat out of him just cause he was wearing an Oilers jersey.

Who ever defaced the billboard must not have read the fine print on it.

There were no Stampeder fans injured in the making of this billboard.

QBall QBall:
I'm sorry was the brilliant mind in Edmonton who erected the billboard seriously the billboard to remain unscathed? If I were the cops I would've told the billboard company when they called to report the vandalism that they'll get right on it and then place the report in a drawer.

$1:
The board depicted an Edmonton Eskimos fan riding a Calgary Stampeder fan’s back like a horse and originally read “EE-Hawwww! See you Monday Stamps fans.”

Well that's just pure class.

It must suck, taking everything in life so seriously.

You know, it's just a game, right? The Edmonton/Calgary rivalry goes back to inter city LaCross games back in the the 1800's. The Labour day football game goes back almost 50 years. And Calgary Stampeders and Saskachewan Roughriders organizations do the same thing before Edmonton games, and people take it for what it is - a friendly poke in the ribs!

Learn to laugh!

Then why were the police called to investigate the vandalism if this is some big joke?

Because some Calgary fans can't see that it is just a game, and decided to escalate it to the realm of 'crime'. (that Vancouver comment still make sme laugh though.)

35 - 7 though, Eskimos did ride Calgary hard, and put them away wet. ;)
