Agreed. But Britain needs to also provide an opportunity for these people. Britain, unlike it's neighbors, has a huge permanent underclass of white people. These kids are all NEETS, they've got nothing else to do. If nothing else, make em do national service for their welfare benefits where they are trained for work and given some discipline. Use the rubber bullets to stop them now, but then give them something else besides just sitting on welfare.

In the USA the way we put down the riots in 1991 was the Marines went into the streets of Los Angeles with machine guns and live ammuntion. Once there were a few dead rioters it was amazing at how quickly things settled down.

As to the "It's just property" - no, it is not. Some of these shop keepers are barely hanging on and when they lose their shops those shops won't come back. It isn't just a shop being destroyed it is a livelyhood and, ergo, a life.

Andy, it is this exact attitude... the State must provide jobs ........

that is the reason this underclass was created in the first place.

Its always the government must do this, the government must do that.

The state has to do something if it does't want this shit to continue. Somehow Germany manages not to create this underclass. If you ignore this problem it will just erupt like this - that costs the state money too, as well as all those welfare payments. If there aren't enough jobs, let these people do national service for their welfare where you train them how to work and have discipline. And quit importing people to take jobs away so that there are jobs available for these people. You need the carrot and the stick if you want to change this dynamic.

Under your plan the state will just have to shift it's resources to riot suppression and population control. The old dream of the European radical left, of goading the state into becoming fascist will have been realized, while they're all in their dotage. Next step, or so they thought, was a communist revolution against the fascist state. For most bystanders I doubt if one outcome is better than another.
