See, it doesn't help Obama at all. The NYT must be some right wing rag to print this stuff.

If you didn't bother to read the whole story you'd come away thinking he was debating someone other than his own lawyers. So, the extremely misleading headline aka the National Enquirer would appear to refute that claim.

I read the first part of the story and came away thinking he was debating his own lawyers who gave him a contrary opinion. Which doesn't help him at all. I just don't see what you're getting at here, I think it's cause you misread the story.

I didn't misread the story. It's the headline I've got the problem with.

The story is fine but, like I said if you didn't bother to read the story you'd come away thinking that Obama was in some kind of confrontational debate with two top lawyers from an outside the whitehouse firm and kicked their asses in the debate.

So for clarities sake, they might have written.

"2 Top PentagonLawyers Lost to Obama in Libya War Policy debate"

Which is somewhat different from just "two top lawyers".

It's all semantics and quite likely politics.

OK, that's the impression you came away with from the headline. I don't know why you would jump to the conclusion that he was debating outside lawyers. The natural assumption is that they would be government lawyers, since that is where the government takes it's business.

This article gives ammunition to the people in congress who are trying to show that what Obama is doing is illegal. It is in no way supportive of Obama. To say it's left wing propaganda because they didn't include the fact they were govt lawyers (likely because of space) just seems like clutching at straws for someone who has a hate on for the NYT or is otherwise looking thru a pretty distorted lens. If you see this as left wing propaganda, what the fark do you see what Fox News is doing?

Sure Mr. President, the actions in Libya aren't "hostile" at all.
$1:
At least five people have died in a Nato air strike that hit a house in the Libyan capital Tripoli, Libyan government officials say.

A three-storey house was badly damaged at the scene of the alleged air raid in the city's Souk al Juma residential district.
