The problem wouldn't be anything so obvious... but in some tight races, switching a relatively small number of votes around could make a huge difference in the end result.

Which is exactly what makes this protest by the 'activist' community one of the dumbest things they've ever done.

Hmmm, how long before Tom Flannigan calls for the assassination of the founder of Twitter?

We'll know electronic voting has come when about 10x the population of Canada turns out to vote for a party

You have never voted in Quebec I see. That's entirely possible, long before computers were invented.

There is no 'activist' community. There is no global conspiracy of the left to demoralize you.

I heard they fired Glen Beck. Where's this coming from?

So now you're arguing in part for electronic voting? If it works there, wouldn't it work just as well in the big smoke?

I've always been a fan of electronic voting. But I also see nothing wrong with the way it's done now, just that technology could improve things if there were a desire for it.

The numbers are too small in many places. 30,000 people, in a huge area of the Yukon? Irregularities would be noticed, and it's only for one seat anyhow. But a few votes here or there among millions in Vancouver, Montreal or Toronto could be a huge difference.

Why would he? Twitter and the other internet systems apparently are going to respect the existing law. It's their dumb-ass wannabe users who are trying to make some ridiculous point against a legitimate and reasonable law who are behaving like immature fools.
