How big of a fuck up do you have to be to get booted(medical excluded)? A guy I did my TQ3 with got booted for being an administrative burden, and this was after several warnings/interventions and being put on a coffee and counselling course. The only other people I know of, who were booted, were those who were on their second drug charge.

It is absolutely outragous how people choose the run things in circles to avoid discussing facts. Like HyperionTheEvil, who by spewing the same garbage Laytonists do; warp, twist and deny how much international respect we have,case in point the first time ever in history a nation that peacekeepers helped voluntarily and unconditionally offered their country to Canadian troops to start their transition back to civilian life after their tour of duty is done in Afghanistan, the Cyprus Government did this for Canada. No request was ever made for this, they did it out of respect for us, period. Instead of following up on what is actually happening(of which there is plenty of info available)Even me with a very severe reading disorder can easliy access more information than I can possibly deal with...actual facts not Laytonist/Ignatieffism mumbo-jumbo and the international disparity they expect us to believe in. Even the out of touch Ignatieff weighed in on this by trashing Canada's inability to get a seat on the security council. It had nothing to do with the so called Harper Secrecy BS.

Since the '50s and Diefenbaker's treaty with the US that scrubbed the Arrow included rigid communication clamps between the Government and the people of Canada pertaining to our R & D in Military Intellegence, Aerospace and Science and Technology. Every PM since then have kept those screws tight. They have inturn opted to release information to the CBC, who have inturn opted not to release the information or released incomplete info. Allowing Politicians to twist and regergitate for our benefit(?) hmmm.

We lost the seat on the Security Council because we were stabbed in the back, the day of the vote, by the US yet again. If we recieved the seat our mission in Afghanistan would have been front and center at which point the Canadian way would have been promoted as the new focus of the Afghan Mission by all of NATO, the US would have lost face. In international affairs because most Canadians choose to believe the inadequate and dishonest media coverage and fear mongering by useless leaders.

It has become apparent I must make a disclaimer so the fear monger hordes don't feed off this. I have yet to decide how I will be voting on Monday but so the record is straight even Harper is in the useless leader catagory to spite have the only government ready party currently... very sad but true!

Possibly. The bitterness and bitching fit the bill. I've rarely seen a positive post out of him wrt the military and if I recall correctly during our last disagreement about coastal forces where he threw down with snippets of thoughts from a supposed firnd who supposedly had commanded a ship a decade before which made him some kind of SME... huh... long sentance. Anyway. I seem to recall him saying he was ex military.

Perhaps he was a steward?
