Curtman Curtman: Have you forgotten that Mulroney created the GST, and created new senate seats in order to get it to pass? You don't need to remind me about Lyin' Brian. But I'm not about to pretend Liberals are any better.

Curtman Curtman: Quebec? Well I don't speak for the whole Nation of Manitoba, but... Hell no.
You do realize being a "nation" and being a "state" are two very different things, right?

"That this House recognize that the Québécois form a nation within a united Canada."

This is ridiculous, it was Trudeaus social agenda in the 1970's that fucked us as a nation, but according to you lefties it was Mulroneys fault, so he brought in the GST to deal with it, allowing that crooked face bastard to take all the credit, as those Liberals are prone to do.
It is no wonder Jack Layton is surging in the polls as he is the only one on the left who isnt out in left field, dont get me wrong there is no chance I would vote for him but at least he is honest and open about what he stands for, even said he would be part of a coalition, so if he is ahead it is because he holds nothing back and those on the left like him...lets hope he doesnt hoist himself on his own petard!!!

I understand that Harper was desperate to gain votes in Quebec, so he made an appeal to the separatists. Do I care what the distinction is when he elevates one province above another? Not so much.

Curtman Curtman: I understand that Harper was desperate to gain votes in Quebec, so he made an appeal to the separatists. Do I care what the distinction is when he elevates one province above another? Not so much. Okay, that's not what he did. He basically said the Quebecois is a unique ethnic group, within Canada. That did not elevate Quebec, the political entity, over any other province. Blame transfer payments for that. If that little speech/statement kept the whole separatist bullshit quiet for a while, great. I know you are driven by your partisanship, but come on. You're grasping at massive straws.

Ah, okay, so instead of supporting your own party, you went for the NDP, in order to defeat the EVILLLLL Harper. Right. You're still grasping at straws to find anti-Harper material, without even trying to defend some of it. So, let me ask you again, what is the difference between a state, and a nation?
