You can't get over the idea of the Chinese mercilessly slaughtering their own men, eh?


The People's Republic was rather fond of "human wave" tactics during the Korean War (and again during their war with Vietnam).

Their casualty rates were horrendous.

I know, but it seems kinda odd to me for someone to focus so specifically on the concept of an army drowning their own men to form a bridge made of corpses.

I would look at that as a "metaphor" for how far the People's Republic would be willing to go to take the island of Taiwan.

You guys need to read up on current relations between Taiwan and China. The words are empty rhetoric, and there'll never be a war. However, the KMT may realize Chiang's wish, and return to the mainland.
