It is a news blog so I doubt all the detail may be there. It's actually the social services who've decided to step in and take the child away based on state laws and may have nothing to do with the birthing situation. Legally the hospital may be responsible to make them aware of this situation and then its up to Social Services/Child Welfare to proceed if necessary.
