.... It's just not likely to pass, and it's certain not to pass a judicial review.....

In an era where the Supreme Court falls far too much under the ideological sway of Alito, Scalia, Thomas, and even Chief Justice Roberts, it might be wildly premature to assume that somewhere down the line some of these monstrous legislative ideas under development in the state houses won't receive full judicial approval. No one even saw the eminent domain and Citizens United proceedings as a threat to American democracy until they were disasterously approved by the Supreme Court.

If the Supreme Court ever actually went about rewriting important part of the Constitution, they'd become very familiar with the process of judicial impeachment.

Really?? Seems Canada's net foreign debt, as of the first quarter of 2010, stood at $193.8-billion. We are indebted big time. Then again, you've never let reality interfere with your views before, so why start now?

Ah ok. It's not "big time" at all, in fact it's a recent development with almost 25% of it occurring in the last year. It is also almost All Privately held Debt. Public Debt to Foreigners is <2%(from what I can find info on).

Foreign Debt is a non-Issue.
