Their meat was so fresh you had to wipe its ass before cooking it.
Ilike my beef to be dead at least 3 weeks before trying to eat it, or else it's tough as hell no matter how long you cook it. When we were on Kinmen, we bought beef from the local market. It was fresh.....the day before fresh, and just like leather.
Well, I was being a little facetious. Their meat was never frozen. It was all locally raised and grain fed. Anything they couldn't get locally was still from Canada. They even had flash frozen fruit and veggies that were so fresh they were bursting with flavour.
It took me a few years to get used to eating the shit they call beef and pork at the grocery store again.
