If the Liberals and NDP hadn't brought the traitors in the Bloc into the equation then none of the vehement opposition to the Sedition Coalition would have even occurred.
Again? They didn't. The Bloc agreed to support the coalition, even though they had no role in the proposed coalition government. The historical revisionists try as they might, cannot change that.

The coalition will revolve around a six-point accord between the Liberals and the NDP, and will enjoy support in the House of Commons from the Bloc Québécois.
The Liberals + NDP didn't even have enough seats to outweigh the Conservatives without Bloc support, let alone a combined majority.
Any reliance on the Bloc, formal or informal, in coalition or out, for the survival of the coalition effectively makes the Bloc a part of the coalition even if it isn't official.
It was not the right time for a coalition. Dion, Layton, and Duceppe should have just voted down the government and been done with it.
As it is, those three poisoned the discussion of coalition, and that's the reason I stopped my donations to the NDP, and why I won't vote for the NDP until they ditch Jack.
