PETA are world-class hypocrites anyway and therefore had no credibility to begin with. Fur is bad but it is perfectly okay for them to (needless) kill thousands of domesticated dogs and cats they take into their "shelter". Hell, there are rumors of PETA employees taking pets from people's backyards to put in the "death van". The veracity of the latter is questionable but I wouldn't it put past them.

Good for Trudeau. I don't rate him much as I see him as a political light-weight who would be nothing without his surname, but I applaud his stance on this.
