listen people, it's not a random security check if it is not done on teen females. In fact if it wasn't done on teens like the one in the story it would be a discriminatory practice. Get it through your heads, these people are not perverts who are getting their rocks off, they are people charged with the safety of YOU the people who fly every day, they have been told 'you WILL check people at random', they say yes sir/mam, or they get fired for refusing to do their job.
you people don't like it, don't fly take a car or a train, you want to fly, know you may be randomly patted down, it's been public knowledge for some time now.

I agree with Caleb, the whole seurity fiasco these days is just window dressing, if it can't be found with scanners and metal detectors then it's highly unlikely to be found randomly patting down 15 year old girls
I myself refuse to fly, not because of all the "security hype" and "threats" but because I for one won't buy into the crap they tell us we "have" to put up with in the name of a false sence of security

Brenda Brenda: 15 year old (or 7 year olds) are likely to be brainwashed (Omar Kahdr ring a bell?) and do as they are told.
It boggles my mind that people think this is new. Unsound Unsound: Look at any news report from the Middle East, lots of kids younger than 15 have been used as suicide bombers. No one thinks it's new that young kids can be impressionable. But the fact that someone else can detect it by talking to them, without the need for an invasive body search, seems to be a new concept. Despite being common practice in some countries for many decades. Heavy_Metal Heavy_Metal: you people don't like it, don't fly take a car or a train, you want to fly, know you may be randomly patted down, it's been public knowledge for some time now. So people should be patted down before they get on a bus or a train now? What possible good would that do? You know, the most successful attacks on these vehicles come from being somewhere else, right? How about we just pat people down when they leave their homes? I can see how anyone willing to give up privacy for security can feel good about themselves, or delude themselves that they are indeed safe.

I myself refuse to fly, not because of all the "security hype" and "threats" but because I for one won't buy into the crap they tell us we "have" to put up with in the name of a false sence of security Thanks for that, but no one is really talking about the elephant in the room. So I will. Former Director of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff, was the one pushing the body scanners after the 'underwear bomber'. What they don't tell you, is he runs a security company now, and his major client manufacturers those same scanners. Even though it was said that the scans aren't harmful, there are no medical studies to back that up. As well, they said that the scans would not be saved, but yet, the very revealing scans appear online all the time. Now people are refusing the scans. The TSA is intentionally making these pat downs 'extra special' so that people will be embarrassed into accepting the lesser of the two. Thereby increasing the acceptance of the scanners, and making more money for Chertoff and the Security industry. As I've said before, Israel does not use scanners, does not do pat downs. It uses a tiered human approach, and they have not had any incidence of contraband on a flight in many decades, let alone a hijacking. But that doesn't put money in anyone's pocket, it just makes people safer.

Gotta agree with Brenda here, these people if determined enough will go to any length to carry out their agenda. Children have been used in "warfare" for many many years, as evident in the article linked. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldne ... istan.htmlThat said there is a somewhat easy answer to this issue of young girls etc. being patted down, use female agents to pat down female passengers, and males for male passengers and conduct all searches privately.

Sorry, I can't agree to this. I'd rather have a female myself, as long as she's gentle. What are they going to do after the first colon or vagnia bomber?

What I should have specified was the female to female etc. for underaged passengers. Hopefully we are a ways away from the "vagina bomber" story breaking on CNN....*shudder*

I think everybody should just fly naked. Give everybody at towel to sit on, and away we go. This would stop most Muslim bombers from even considering trying to fly, colon bomber or not.

Yeah I would guess most guys wouldn't like that, I think it's different for a girl. Most would want a search conducted by a female, I know I would, especially as a younger girl. Lmao at a towel for everyone...good one! But I'd hate to be the one on laundry detail!

The obvious answer is to hire only young, attractive, female security personnel. Hire them away from massage parlors. Heck that way you could charge for the security screening, make the program self-funding.

That sucks Bart.
I assume she is unlikely to smuggle explosives on to a plane? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.

Being a relative of Bart's there is a chance she might have been planning on trying to crash the plane into an islamic community centre.
