McDonalds might not want you to waear a Canadian Flag pin as it may offend somebody. It sounds like a joke, but these days they go so overboard to be PC that it might be the case.


Many vets are offended by Canada pins through the poppy. I agree. It cheapens the simple act of rememberance with needless nationalism. This is a time to be proud and thankful of individuals not a country.

wow really I always thought the Canadian flag pin or the yellow support ribbon pin were very fine touches and a great way to keep the poppy on. I am taken aback that vets would find that offensive, I sort of get where they are coming from.....sort of.

I was floored by this issue of not being allowed to wear a poppy a few years ago when going into timmies for a coffee
