Zipperfish Zipperfish:
QBC QBC:
I'd like to hear what started it all. They came to a buddies "rescue" by the sound of things, but they haven't explained why the buddy and the news paper dude were having an issue in the first place. They don't explain clearly what was going on at the scene when the cop arrived either. Was the news paper guy taking it to his buddy? Was his buddy crap kicking the news paper guy? Tough to get a clear picture with what is said here.

The one cop (Gillan?) who got separated asked Khan for directions and Khan replied "Just a sec." Cop didn't want to wait a sec.

If you are intoxicated you cannot be on duty as a police officer. At least the other cop pleaded guilty and will now take his lumps--which will hopefully include a new career. But this lying piece of crap is an insult to the force.

He got 21 days house arrest for his sentence. I haven't heard anything about him being kicked off the force - bet he doesn't, and neither does Klassen.

How cops can keep racist bullies like this on the force is beyond me. Sure Kahn is playing up his injuries hoping for a good settlement. But there has so far been no evidence introduced that he did anything to warrant the attack, it was unprovoked. And witnesses report hearing the cops say "we don't like brown guys." but because it could not be proved who said it there were no hate crime charges.

Damn straight these guys should be looking for a new carreer.

A drunk cop is still a citizen, as citizens we have the right to citizen's arrest.

Conducting a citizen's arrest while drunk is simply a recipe for failure. I'd wager a defence lawyer would have a field day with that.

Citizen's arrest for what, refusing to give directions?

You do continue to astound me on how uneducated you are on topics that you post in.

Being drunk in a public place is not a criminal offence. Citizens have a power to arrest when they find a person committing a criminal offence. Not suspected of, found committing.

Being drunk if you are a cop, a lawyer, the Queen or you ASL is a provincial offence. As in a ticket, as in not criminal.

Police can and do arrest people who are too hammered to look after themselves purely to prevent them from harming themselves or others. Once they sober up they are good-to-go, with a nice ticket.

If you try and do a ‘citizens arrest’ on a drunk cop or any other drunk person for merely being intoxicated, well it’s not going to be pretty and the kick-in you may get is your own tough-titty.

Try reading up on this stuff before posting.

either this man is completely delusional, or believes that he is so much about the law , that any lies he tells will be believed.

like the airport four and Monty the killer Mountie.....this thug believes that he is untouchable and will get off with a slap on the wrist.

He drank 11 beers, but said he did not feel impaired , tell that story to the cop at the next roadblock you go through
