First she came for our Mosques, but I was silent for I wasn't Muslim
....
Then she came for our Soup and I was hungry, but there was no one to speak for me. :(

To go back to the topic on the guy from NPR - it is not irrational to be uneasy around a group of people of whom some of them are trying to kill you.

Heck, even Chris Rock admits that when he goes to an ATM he's not worried about a white guy robbing him, he's worried about a (black guy) robbing him. Does that make him a blackophobic to you?

At the same time, when I've been off to play in the sandbox I'm not worried about the Ba'hai, Christians, Zorastrians(sp?), Buddhists, and, frankly, I'm not all that worried about the Shiite Muslims. I'm worried about the Sunni Muslims and even when I've been on patrol with a supposedly trustworthy local troop I make for danged sure that I've got someone assigned to watching that guy lest he turn on us...and that's happened.

Cripes - the Shiites I knew in Iraq were afraid of Sunni Muslims...does that make THEM Islamophobic? I guess with you it does.

I don't fear of Muslims since I used to live with them for years. I lived in Turkey for three years. In college, my roommate was a Kuwaiti. He is a Arab nationalist and he hates America's foreign policy. He hates Osama Bin Laden and says that most Muslims don't want a holy war against the United States. They just want the United States our of their business. Majority of Muslims do not support terrorism.

I believe roommate than a talking head on talk radio, fox news, or a right wing blog telling me that I should fear Muslims because they are terrorist.
