OK, who's the brave one here that will admit he voted for the guy.

Voted for him last time and given the current palate of choices looks like I'll have to vote for him again.

When the choices are...
- the last person on earth I'd vote for
- the second to last person on earth I'd vote for
- ...
- ...
- the fifth to last person on earth I'd vote for (Gordon Campbell)

...I guess I'd vote for Gordon Campbell too. 8O

Nope, without a leadership change I'll vote NDP next time. The Libs under Campbell are getting stale and arrogant - they need to either find a new leader like Dianne Watts, or spend time in the wilderness. If Campbell is re-elected again, he will go berserk.

I voted for Campbell in the first election. He did some good stuff during his first term, namely turn back the anti-business agenda of the NDP and restoring some semblance of professionalism ot the office.

But at some point he slipped into this tax-and-spend regime while at the same time churning out new laws and regualtions at an alarming rate. Sure it's business friendly now, primarily because he subsidizes business with BC resident taxes. And I thinhk most British Columbian's are odffended at the cavalier way they lie all the time, even allowing for the fact that they're politicians.

I think Campbell knows he's toast but won't announce a departure yet to avoid creating a power vacuum. Mulroney and Chretien did the same thing--hung on long after their best-before date, with disastrous results for their parties.

The NDP are not getting any traction under Carol James. She's had a couple of kicks at the can now, and has failed to make ground. It's the BC Conservatives (and former SoCreds) who have seized the day with the HST debacle. Carol James is completely wishy-washy on the issue. Mind you, Carol James has been circumspect in making promises because she may well end up in power. The BC Conservatvies can promise pretty much anything, because there is no way they'll form the next government.
