You're ripping down the freeway and the dash mounted display screams "Danger! Danger!" so you glance at it.
It shows a glowing, rotating skull and the words "So long sucker".
You glance up to see the gas tanker that stopped dead while the display distracted you..

There's a sure fire way to prevent this from happening. It's called, "using your Mk.I eyeball to look out your Mk.I windshield".

The eyeball/windshield is an amazing system. After 27 years of driving, I have yet to come even close to "losing" the road.

Perhaps her car was one of those new models where the windshield is an expensive option, so for $500 less, you get a sheet of aluminum and a TomTom instead. :roll:

I have never, and will never own a GPS. My mapbook is more than adequate, and I really couldn't afford submerging my car anyways.
