That's not protection.

Lets looks at the facts now around this dummy:
1) Armed perp sees her pull a pellet gun, they both shoot, she looses no matter how many times she hits him, unless she nails his eye by off chance.
2) Unarmed perp comes in is too stupid to be scared off and gets a little ouchy then takes it and is so pissed off he pistol whips her half to death with it.
3) All perps hear of this story and now know she is using a toy so they know not to be scared and still rob her.
4) So she then goes and gets a real handgun with safety course and a few hours of target shooting. My bet she is so scared and untrained she shoots and misses, refer to what happens in number 2 above. Plus now the bad guy has a real gun to use when he breaks into my place, thanks lady!
5) she does not get her gun in time and he uses it on her and see the last sentence in number 4 above.
6) After maybe scaring the guy away the cops come in and miss jitter fingers (Love how shes holding her index finger in the pic) Pulls it and fires on them to which they reply by shooting her. While she is in the morgue the bad dudes come and clean out her place.

Get a big dog. At least it will give you time to run out the back door before its shot.

We have repeat offenders of the same crime who know she has a certain kind of medication. Way to go on your crackdown on crime, PM Harper. Stupid pipe-dream talk of a concept as sound as a safe oil rig at sea.

Give people what they want and the democracy will flourish. Give people what they think they need or it's all going to fall apart.

I wish we had American gun laws in Canada.

Mr_Canada Mr_Canada:
I'll note I've never seen the 'Sawed off shotgun' version of a pellet gun.

It's real easy to identify, no experience required: The end of the barrel is a large hole that has depth to it no matter what angle you look at it. Real easy to see when your adrenaline is running.

I think they exist, and it's OK because I think it's being handled right. As far as store bought pellet gun goes, you'll know what it is when you see it.

But a good, modified design could deceive the senses. ;)

Buddy calm down, I'm just saying that in some ungodly situation she might get the advantage because of the pellet gun. Some guy gets into her house and sees her with the gun and takes off. You've basically just referred to negative aspects. Everyone needs protection and for her its a pellet gun.

She's bringing a knife to a gun fight. Plus it's one thing to brag you're prepared to shoot someone, doing it is another thing.

Shooting someone with a pellet gun isn't hard. Doing it when they're carrying the real thing - not so streetwise.

I don't want American gun laws in Canada, but the one exception is that if somebody breaks into your house, you should be able to use any means available to defend yourself. But the onus should be on you to prove that you really were in danger and had to shoot. None of this shooting halloween tricksters like they do In Louisiana.

If a conditional tax reduction get put on the table, I consider that extortion. A better government would be prepared to reduce taxes regardless of the outcome of the referendum.

Its ironic that this is actually what most gun control advocates would want us to do. Now that we have an example of it, we are outraged at the idea.

I think its sad that noone is outraged at the fact that her 25yr old retarded daught got booted in the head by one of the scumbag criminals.
