I agree that I would not have liked dressed codes.
However, I dont have a problem with strict dress codes in a school where the student or the parents have chosen the school over other schools that dont have dress codes.
As far as school getting back to educating and nothing else, well, I've always asserted that part of my education came from sitting around a campfire with my dad, hanging out in the autoshops at school, basketball, motorcyles, cadets, etc.
My point is: education is not just an academic thing, if students and parents want to be in a school that teaches ettiquette, dress standards, and a code of ethics, then I would say that is a good thing.
