Sports and corruption is nothing new. A few years ago the Bundesliga had a corruption scandal, Czech Mafia rigged games with the help of refs. The same thing happened in Italy, Juventus was relegated and some other teams docked points when they got caught.

The Hajj is the smartest money making scheme on the globe. Basically, you go there to waste some money and do some praying. Saudi doesn't even need oil, it's all in the Hajj tourism business.

The difference is in Pakistan, it's just another in a long line of corruption scandals. Italy is no paragon of virtue but they at least can get of their arses and help their own people after a natural disaster.

I'll start with a favorite examples of yours nowadays. Cordoba, it was after the Christians took over than they did the convert or die thingy. All the Jews and Muslims were given the choice of either leave, convert or die. India has one of the largest muslim populations in the world and was even ruled by them for centuries so how how come the majority of Indians are still Indians and good sizeable population of christians and zoastrians.

The only rock that is mentioned in scripture, involving Abraham, is the one where he was prepared to sacrifice Isaac(Israel) to God. Where did I say that the zakat was something negative? Many Christian sects do the same, Mormons etc. Even the Left Footers give cash at mass.
