I'm too old, and not rich enough, so the Aussies wouldn't take me. But I've thought (not seriously) about emigrating there. There seems to be a little less bullshit in Oz, more straight talk. Except for the fact that that talk (accent) really grates on my ears, it seems like a pretty decent place. But, they're starting to have their own multicultural problems. So I don't know if it will be any better in the long run.

And that's why I compared him to the like of Mulroney and Chretien. But despite previous gov't actions, one can easily hang this on Harper cuz he's the one at the helm right now. HE is the one that has been cutting veterans hospital beds for the last 2 years, but he'll make sure there's lots of money for these wankers. I wonder how many veterans there are in BC still waiting for beds. I'm sure they'll be happy to know that despite the fact they gave their all, they get nothing, while those that gave nothing will get it all. Pretty fucked up priorities our gov't has here in Canada.

No different than what happened to every other western country. We had it too good and got soft.
