Bodah Bodah:
$1:
The Conservative government announced in July that it will spend $2.6-billion to replace the navy’s two auxiliary oil replenishment vessels – the HMCS Protecteur and the HMCS Preserver (currently docked for maintenance)
Don't worry lefties its been taken care of.
Nice partisanship...
The Liberals started this project back in the mid-90s, had plans to build them about now but got elected out of office. Harper, after getting elected, promised to build THREE ships, then balked at the price tag and suspended the project in 2008. Now, two years later, this VITAL project is back in the batting rotation, only now they're building TWO ships.
Harper will only get kudos for this if he builds three ships, not two. This promise, just like his "Three armed heavy icebreakers" is just another bunch of BS that partisan hacks like you swallow hook, line and sinker.
Take the blinders off. Neither party has done very well by the CF for decades.
