So...let me get this straight. An Arab says he's a Jewish bachelor, picks up and has sex with a Jewish woman, only for the Jewish woman to later find out the guy isn't Jewish. The woman presses charges, and the man pleas to rape by deception to get some undisclosed jail term instead of community service.

I actually googled "Rape by deception" and there are some non-Israeli examples of this, including one in Britain:

So, is this really that rare? Or is this a really extreme case for something that might be considered more common in civil court?

Sounds like easy, sleazy and disgusting was pissed she wasn't screwing a doctor or a lawyer(ahem...looking for a possible paternity suit possibly???). If all it took was being a Jewish bachelor to get into her panties there was no rape.

I may have missed it, but got the impression that he didn't state one way or the other what his Ethnic/Heritage was. Seems he just got her hot and bothered, they did it, next day she finds out he's not Jewish, OMG Call 911

Well the neo nazi would have to be dumber than dog shit if he's going to Israel to find an 'aryan' mate(then again, they ain't the brightest bulbs on the Christmas tree). There is a chance however, that if he portrayed himself as a Jew, the courts could make the same ruling, as a goyim is a goyim in the eyes of the religious courts.

Just another example of how the Israelis are following the footsteps of the Nazis. In Nazi Germany it was illegal for Germans to have sex with Poles, and I would guess Jews were on that list as well.

If this verdict stands, any lie a man tells a woman can be deemed as rape by deception. But then what about a reverse situation? Ie can women be prosecuted for this as well?
