Canadian Customs are NOT friendly, nor nice. I understand they have a job to do, but being rude is NOT in their job-description, and if it is, they should cancel that stat.

Too often upon returning from travels I have been treated like shit by Canadian Customs officials, be it at the US border or returning from overseas. I think a big part of the job requirements is tyo suffer from "Little Man syndrome" and to possess twice the normal amount of assholism. Compared to American or European customs officials, our are ignorant asses.

As far as strip searches, perhaps some of her clothes have metal wire structure? (like her bra)
Every bra has wires (well almost...) and most women do not get strip-searched.
