They forfeited the match anyways. Truly a shame as they are the creators of Lacrosse and great players but at the expense of a measly piece of paper and the difference between ones identity and pride. Then again, I have no sympathies as it is just a piece of paper, a passport and not exactly an example of ones identity but merely ones means to pass into another country. If they are too stupid to understand that concept or other countries' rules regarding allowing one to enter their country then too bad. I'm sure the Hurons would have understood their Huron passport means dick all getting into Iroquois country back in the day.

Love how those anti-Québecers put a Québec spin on most of these posts. In Québec, which is a province of Canada the passport is Canadian. Wildrose needs to get with the program. The harper government declared that Québec is a nation of people, not an independent nation. There is only one passport for Canadians. How did these guys think they could enter another country on something that existed before confederation? get real! They are getting a rough time from border services going back and forth from the US because they say they don't need passports. Wrong! we need to know who and why is coming and going in this country.

Isn't it funny when people who are accustomed to special treatment in Canada or the USA find out that their 'special' status doesn't mean jack to the rest of the world?

I just read in the paper how well the Canadian team was doing, and the US team was mentioned as well. I have no idea if this is the same tournament as these spatial 1st Nations were going to, but if so, does that mean they have their own teams in these events, don't play for Canada or the US? Bet Canada and the US fund their teams tho - what hypocrisy.
