I just hate the Quebec-bashers who say free statements. They see something against Canada and we are all separatists while they are a minority. Some people are against the CF so we are all anti-CF.

Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes: Guy_Fawkes Guy_Fawkes: I never said they did not support the military, just that they dont want them around. Please show the last "Freedom of The City" parade in a Quebec city. They were not trying to hurt anyone, thats why they had the bomb go off at 3 am and gave a warning. They just wanted to stop recuitment at that location. You seem to forget this is my opinion, which is gathered from other Quebecers who have been posted out of Quebec. As well as my limited experiences that I have had in Quebec. They are not your view, but yelling "Your a Troll Shut UP!" and "not all of us think like that!" will not change my mind. Coming out and showing me examples of Quebecers celebrating the CF/Military in their comunity will. Yeah. Stick with that and shut up with your "limited experience of Quebec".

Oh good, I shouldnt share my opinion because you dont like it. You also missed the part where most of my opinon has come from other Quebecers who have lived outside the province for more than 3 years. **Edit** You also seem to have skipped over everything else I have said in my statment to zero on that one small sentance. How about you stop stamping your feet and PROVE me wrong.

The thing here, is that Fawkes is regularly trolling around this forum. He has had some other senseless & ignorant comments on the province.
You know, criticize Quebec leftist politicians is one thing, but to have unenlightened generalization comments about the populace is another. Usually I have had nothing to say when some valid points about ignorant separatists has been mentionned for instance. But then, it must be as they say, ignorance can be usually found on both sides.

I'll reserve comment until the cops confirm which group is responsible.
Majority of Quebecers don't believe in blowing up buildings to get a point across is all I'll say for now.

Yelling "He's a TROLL, he's a TROLL!" does not solve anything. I presented my view, and have asked you as well as others to show how it is incorrect. Stokes is the only one who has come close to giving an actual debate on the subject. I've tried to adress the statement about the bomber only hurting other quebecers. Proculation Proculation: Btw, it's in Quebec that the most people enters the CF. At least the last time I heard. So go fuck yourself with your generalization. Im looking for evidence either way, but I cant find anything. I think its actually Ontario that has the highest recruitment numbers, since it has the highest population and the most training bases. While I do dislike military hero worship, it does show those regions that welcome the military into their community. Now I did find this Quebec City International Festival of Military Bands and it does celebrate some military culture. Marching bands dont really represent much of a military presence, I would like to see what the actual response to this event would be.

Majority of Quebecers don't believe in blowing up buildings to get a point across is all I'll say for now. FLQ It's a bit of a cheap shot and it was a while ago, but its an example none the less.

I've always hated generalizations too. The majority of Québecers DO support the Canadian Armed Forces. I have a lot of family that served in both wars. My father was in the forces too. ...and by the way, my son is getting this on Monday.

Non, Non, you said that it would be better to close all military installations in the province, since all those fucking ''Quebecers'' don't like the Canadian Armed Forces. troll troll: I hear of the love and affection the people of Quebec give their armed forces. ... the Quebec do not want a CF presence in their province. Actually troll is not so bad in comparison to some other terms that could be used instead. Now go troll somewhere else.

Well its a really poor one, and it makes all your generalizations really idiotic if you think the majority of Quebecers supported the FLQ. You're going to have to do a LOT better than that if you expect anyone to take you seriously.

@Guy: the fact that it's Quebecers who enter in the CF the most (per capita) is a good point to prove you wrong. Go in Quebec City saying that Quebecers are against the CF. You will be told harshly that you are very wrong. Same thing in Trois-Rivières, where the bomb exploded.
Majority of those who are against the military are in Montréal, which is the second city in Canada. That's the same in every big city: they are more "liberal" and left-wing. I'm quite sure it's the same thing in Toronto and Vancouver.

Yes, I understand that, but saying ... raydan raydan: The majority of Québecers DO support the Canadian Armed Forces. ... is not enough evidence to change my opinion. Your son is an engineer, and ofcourse you and your familiy support him and welcome the military. To imply that you and your son represent the majority of Quebec is a blanket statment. Chimo to your son.
