As if we needed further proof that there is no god. People will always try to associate that which they fail to understand with some sort of divine connection.

The more we learn about the world the faster we are to shun more religious tradition in favor of "You don't need to go to church to be a good Christian".

Do these nut-balls even read the bible anymore to make the very simple connection that god DEMANDS you attend church and do horrible horrible things to those who don't follow him or are we all just so stupid in this day and age still that we redefine god within our own minds into something he clearly isn't in the bible so we can "fit in".

Or even worse we put 100% of our trust into a pastor or organization to define god for us and "translate" the bible for us to "guide" us through the hard parts.

Geez.

You'd think that if they used a little more science and a little less blind faith, the statue would still be standing. If they would have consulted an architect he would have told them sooner or later this would happen, and would have given them a solution to fix it. Instead they went with ignorance and Zap!
