I did work for Immigration and Brenda is right. If I am correct I've heard they are toying with lowering that to $200K. Also you don't need to speak English only.

I've read the link, and I'm telling you what ACTUALLY happened. In this particular case you don't know shit, and refuse to accept that you aren't near as sharp as you think.

This also wasn't the first time I've seen ENGLISH applicants treated worse than non-English. But I'm sure you'll tell me that I'm wrong.

Nope, if you read the story, Kenney (immigration minister) himself says nothing can be done. Very hard to prove he planned this or the marriage just broke down. As Kenney has said, the answer is a qualifying period like they have in US - your marriage breaks down in less than 3 years and you are outta here. I don't know how much this would solve - he'd go thru the motions for 3 years and then still be free and clear.
