That's been done quite frequently and now the USA usues ground penetrating radar to find these tunnels and that has more or less ended the tunneling efforts.

The success of Fox News (which is a cable network whose ratings frequently eclipse those of broadcast networks) is predicated upon the public's disaffection for the bloc of established media. Hate them if you will, they will continue to be successful so long as the rest of the media thinks they can keep doing business as usual.

Way back when, the Rio Grande was where most aliens crossed by swimming or wading.
At that time the term wetback was popular.

Drug smugglers in Texas already use very eloberate tunnel complexes. for bring firearms into Mexico and drugs into the USA.

Mexican kidnappers and drug gangs already have increased murders in border towns.
