The thing is, I'm not so much annoyed at the rental of a $1500 port-a-john(although it's a little extreme) but WHY the rental at all? Does Stornoway not come with washrooms?
OK, it's taxpayer money, but as I said, the taxpayer doesn't pay less if they were to rent cheaper cans, or tell the guests to shit in the bushes. It's up to the Libs how they want to apportion that money.
It's 3 garden parties - ie likely a huge crowd. As the story said, last year people complained about the cans, so this year they've upgraded them. They don't want to let those people into Iggy's ensuite, to root thru his medicine cabinet and find Zsuzsanna's vibrator.
