Wow! Way to be classy guys. I hope when your relationships break up your friends are as understanding and supportive.

It's the era of the Angry Right.

I'd say it's more the era of Angry People. This time it is directed at someone the lefties adore. The previous 8 years it was directed at a person the left despised.

No, in scale I don't see any left-wing equivalent to the Teabaggers, or any left-wing equivalents to the proliferation of popular angry right-wing pundits like Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck, Bill O'Reilly and all that crowd.

The 60s was more the heyday of the acitivist left.

In this case, the contempt isn't directed towards Obama, as you imply, but towards a figure the activist right doesn't like (and his wife). The reaction by the Angry Right here is happiness--or more accurately Schadenfreude--that someone of whom they disapprove is experiencing misery in his personal life.

Actually, I'm not sure Rush Limbaugh should be on there--I've only heard him a coupkle of times, years ago, but he didn't seem all that angry. Kind of funny, actually.

Limbaugh was actually kind of entertaining years ago, and actually performed a ueful service in deflating the Clintons self-righteous goody-goody routine, but he got progressively more vicious and less funny as time passed. Sort of the perfect metaphor, n'est pas for conservatism in general after Reagan and Bush The Elder's generation shuffled off the scene and were replaced by the Bush Jr.'s and Palins of the movement.

...are you speaking from experience?

I would guess you don't...

Holly shit, trying to take the high and righteous ground. LOL

It's sad that they are breaking up, but I find the man greedy and opportunistic.

Tipper was not like that, more down to earth and wants to be out of the lime light.

I would say that would be a reason for this divorce.

Oh you've met him? Or is your assessment based on what you saw on Fox?
