Half the claim has already been dismissed - ie that he is responsible for keeping her from drinking too much. The other half, that he should have foreseen or prevented her jumping out should have been dismissed at the same time. This is just a makework project for lawyers and judges.

I think he's trying to cash in here by in effect suing himself. I wouldn't stay with a nut bar like this woman after what happened, and I certainly would never allow her to be a passenger in my vehicle - ever.
