$1: Now if there was a non-Aggressive bird that would f*** you up if you cornered it, I'd be all for it.
Never been chased by a hissing goose have you? I'd think that around the world the Canada Goose is probably the most well known, but I like the red tailed hawk myself.

I choose the Osprey. They're beautiful birds and share a favourite past-time with many Canadians..fishing

Regina Regina: How about this one? I believe they're looking for a National bird that isn't someone else's symbol. How dare you try and poach Winnipeg's municipal bird

That being said, I might vote raven. Big, sneaky, and it likes to dick around for fun!

No big deal, you just let them get up to your leg then fling them off 6+ meters. They're all bluster and nothing else. I suppose they get points for Intent, but lose them all for lack of Effectiveness.

Ohhhhh, but geese are TERRIBLE!!! They used to eat the lunch out of your hand, including your fingers, and if you didnt let them, they would really attack you. People ended up in the hospital because those fucking geese at the schoolyard. I HATE GEESE

Anything but the geese, nasty annoying birds.
I'm going with the Raven. Very smart birds.

sandorski sandorski: Loon, don't care if it's taken, it's the best choice.
Personally I don't want a Bird of Prey, that's just not the Canadian way. Now if there was a non-Aggressive bird that would f*** you up if you cornered it, I'd be all for it. See, it's thinking like that which is how Canada is relegated to the unknown/unappreciated and why people think we're too nice and polite and essentially pussies. RTH FTW.

I wouldn't mind seeing the osprey actually, but red-tailed hawk still wins me over. It's red. RED! Red is CANADIAN! Also, it's a hawk. As for a goose, isn't it a provincial bird or something? Also, I HAVE been chased by a hissing goose, but then THAT motherfucker ran away once I made like my ancestors and picked up a solid stick. Buddy got the message right quick. I'm human and better than a Canada Goose. All they got on me is the ability to fly and to shit in public.

I was torn between the osprey, raven and the red tail hawk. Fortunately the osprey is the provincial bird of Nova Scotia and the Raven the territorial bird of the Yukon, so I guess my mind is made up. sandorski sandorski: Personally I don't want a Bird of Prey, that's just not the Canadian way. What??
