$1:
It's the second ugly public relations incident for the Phillies this year. In April, a 21-year-old man was arrested for intentionally vomiting on an 11-year-old girl and her father in the stands.

Public realtions incident? Ummm from what I see, the Phillies weren't involved in either incident. They were the actions of 2 fucking retards.

As for the current retard, let's just hope he learned something.

Tasering fans is the only thing that makes Baseball watchable.

That was sort of funny though.

A bunch of bulky guys running after some tiny idiot that they could not catch, so they taser him instead.

Baseball is like history or economics or astronomy: it's boring to those not intelligent enough to understand it.

Don't assume, you know the saying......

I understand baseball perfectly, I played little league as a kid and still the odd pickup game with friends these days, I'm saying that like golf (which I enjoy playing very much) it's boooooooooring as hell to watch.

You THINK you understand baseball; if you find it boring to watch, you don't. I, like you, enjoy golfing but could never watch golf. That means, despite what I know about golf, I don't understand it the way others must in order to enjoy watching it on TV.

For me, a lot depends on the venue. If I'm at home, you couldn't get me to watch a baseball game on TV if you put a gun to my head (can you say snorefest?)
But, I've been to several MLB games and enjoyed them all very much.

Truthfully I find it boring because the majority of the time theres SFA going on in a game, I'd rather watch the highlights on the news (as with golf) cause then they cut out all the BS between the major plays and I can see a great hit or catch or strikeout as opposed to watching hours of mediocrity for a few minutes of actual action.
I still enjoy playing baseball but my brain craves action when it comes to watching sports.

I'll agree with that, though it's another sport I enjoyed playing as a kid.

ROTFL John Stewart just showed the video and commented, "Stadiums could increase their attendance by 30-40% by replacing the 7th inning stretch with...that"
