Basically, I agree with Gunnair, if better than average girls can play on the boy's teams, why can't the worse than average boys play on the girl teams?

I'll admit I'm not the best athlete, (cough, and considering some of the MASSIVE guys on the football team here in my US high school, I didn't want to be murdered either), why not let me play on the girl teams? Because, I, being 6'1, and over 200 pounds, will probably be one of the most aggressive players on any field, because guys are "rougher".

There are better girl teams for her, I assume, outside of school? Why can't she join those teams instead?

IIRC men have an advantage in shooting sports at longer ranges where stability is the prime factor. The slower heartbeat, larger lung capacity and strength are the edge.

There should be one of the Tier teams able to meet her level of expectation. My daughter left local league because she wanted better play and joined a Regional (for indoor and outdoor) higher Tier and was happy. The story doesn't do a good job in the details.

At least, thanks to the differences in her intrenal plumbing arrangement, she doesn't have to participate in a round of pass-the-biscuit after a loss the way the guys do.
