I thought Reggie came out a while back...or did some POS 'out' him?? or maybe, just maybe a Japanese publisher bought the comic and they'll have Betty and Veronica dump Archie for each other.

Archie comics have plot? Or story? Or developments? I thought they just had 10 year cycles and old cartoons got redrawn as new ones?

Why are there any comics anymore? They are just as, if not more, popular than they were when most of the comic characters came into being. Comics were always about simple escapism, plot and story line were never the goal of most. Charles Schulz never had any continuing story line or plot for Peanuts and look how long running and popular that was and still is.
People now a days are so wrapped up with realism that they forget what comics and the like are all about. I've read some of the latest Superman, Batman comics and they spend more time on their psychological problems then the wonderment of the character or the simple adventure. Comic book characters have had their "larger than life" persona's stripped away and replaced with emotional psychobabble. I won't read any more or watch any of the new Superman, or Batman stories, I'll keep my boyhood memories of what a real super hero is and what comics are supposed to be, fun.
