It's about time the provinces with the biggest population growth were better represented.

The bloc are seeing that their 10 minutes of fame is coming to an end and that Canada will move on with or without Quebec.

The next election will be less about what Quebec wants and more about what Canada wants.

It's about time.

Exaclty EyeBrock,

Harper read the tea leaves right when they turned on him last time because of minor art cuts for separatists. The biased Quebec media was able to spin that into an attack on their culture and most of them gobbled it up.

I'm sure he said to himself, fuck'em with the old recipe of trying to kiss ass with Quebec. There's another way and this is it.

As usual, the ''nationalistic'' provincial media is gonna eat up anything Duceppe tells them.

Can't we just load all the seperatist pigs into life rafts and send them to the French Territory island of Saint-Pierre and Miquelon off the coast of Newfoundland? Ah, wishful thinking. :D

The QC media is surprisingly silent about this matter. Usually, journalists like to create controversy about any Federal matter that is not along the Bloc's position.

Probably that the only reason being that the attention now is on the Quebec provincial budget. On a side note, gotta love those ''BS'' protesters, they should not have anything to complain about.

Give them time Pimp, I'm sure the Quebec media is working on this one as well, the Quebec budget is big news no doubt. A 2% increase in PST cerainly would piss me off as well. I wouldn't however have a problem with paying 25$ to have a doctor treat me for a heart attack, these idiots obviously do.

Well, the Bloc could not make a case about that situation anyway... Everyone will understand that's it's common sense to add seats where the population is growing. Since they can't remove seats in provinces the population declines (humm... Quebec), they have to add more.

After all, it sounds reasonable.

Although, to the typical 'hardcore' nationalist Quebecers, they will surely use this to bash the system and the ROC.

At this point, no one here would expect anything less. So it's no suprise.

Their behaviour is the definition of insanity in my books.

Those are the same persons thinking that it's Quebec that is keeping Canada afloat economically. They do not live rationaly.

It is a shame really!

Common sense would say to collaborate together to potentially make this a better country, Canada. Instead they lash out at the 'méchants Anglos' and that even Federalists are considered traitors to them.

It is a shame.

Don't worry though in certain parts of Quebec, Francos and Anglos collaborate quite well.

Of course, mostly in the Gatineau area.

But the media IMO, with their constant bias, seem to be creating or reinforcing that division.
